As you have hopefully seen, the groundworks for the new nets are progressing, with the new parking spaces and the base and drainage in the car park complete. &nbsp;The drainage cover on the field has also been relocated to the side of the new net’s location.

The next stage is the construction of the new nets themselves which we are hoping to complete in May. &nbsp;This will result in the layout you see in the image above. &nbsp;The final stage is to refurbish the existing two lane net facility, taking advantage of the installer being on site to get a discounted price, however this was not part of original plans, so any financial support you would be able to provide would be hugely appreciated. &nbsp;Donations can also be gift aided to help increased the value of your donation. &nbsp;

We can’t wait to have the new facility in operation and have arranged to use Brentwood School’s new net facility until ours is fully operational, to ensure we have the training space we need.

Welcome to Brentwood Cricket Club

We are a Cricket club based in Brentwood, Essex whose First XI currently play in the Shephard Neame Essex League Premier Division which represents the highest level of Amateur cricket in England. Founded in 1881 the club has a rich history and its association with Essex County Cricket Club has always been close. County and other representative cricket has been regularly played at the ground over the past 140 years. Several England players have worn the Club's colours down the years, most recently Sky Sports' Cricket Commentator Nick Knight and Gavin Hamilton. We also have the honour of being able to name numerous International players that have played for us, including Australian Adam Zampa, West Indies stars Shane Shillingford, Daren Sammy and Jason Holder, and Indian ODI player Hrishikesh Kanitkar.
